Dealing with some Trust issues

In an article about how to regain trust in business, I found that the points are very much like that for a relationship and definitely deserves to be mentioned again.

So here is the scenario: When a company has lost the trust of its employees, how does it go about regaining the trust and loyalty of those employees?

Answer-- Simply put: "The truth is, you can't regain trust. Period. You doubt? Think hard about the times you've been betrayed. Did the villain ever find their way back into your heart? If you're like the thousands I've asked, the answer is never. Trust can be gained once and lost once. Once lost, it's lost forever."

The article goes on to list a few points to begin regaining trust:

1. Tell the TRUTH
2. Keep promises
3. Put their interestes BEFORE yours
4. Behave Ethically
5. Change players to gain trust

Hmm... something to think about for those who are in need to "regaining" some trust. Although I'm not too sure how changing players can regain trust.. hm...perhaps I should think about that!

Being in a relationship is sometimes like a business arrangement - Honestly, where else do you have to do so much talking and compromising in order to benefit from the relationship? In a business relationship, once you've lost trust in your partner, it's not likely that you'll ever get into another business together again.. highly unlikely. So why don't we listen to our business instincts and do what we must and leave the lying, cheating, partner that would screw us over just to profit themselves in a relationship!?

If we all make that connection, we'd probably be better off not having to deal with bullshit relationships. Hmph!
